ASHFORD, SANDYHURST LANE

Bowbridge Land is promoting 2.36 hectares of former quarry for residential development. An application is currently being worked up, focusing on the provision of self-build plots to meet Local Plan requirements.

OAKHAM, RUTLAND

Bowbridge Land is promoting land at Barleythorpe, Oakham through the Local Plan process.  The land is suitable for 124 dwellings or thereabouts.  An application will be submitted in due course.

WANSFORD, PETERBOROUGH

We are running an application for 14 custom units at Wansford to meet the significant demand for the undersupplied market.

We are looking for more custom plus self-build planning opportunities.

SOUTH WOOTTON

Agreed sale 125 plots at South Wootton, reserved matters planning application pending. The site forms part of a larger 40 hectare SUE allocated in the King’s Lynn and West Norfolk Site Allocations and Development Management Policies Plan (adopted September 2016).

Promotion agreement for 500 units with independent access being part of the Rushden SUE.

GREAT ELLINGHAM

Following Breckland Council’s refusal of Orbit Homes’ planning application on the Attleborough Road site, Bowbridge Land took over the site from Orbit Homes and progressed the appeal through to determination.

 

On 8 September 2016 the Inspector allowed the appeal, thereby granting consent for the 39 home scheme. Breckland District Council granted further planning permission on 26 June 2019 under application 3PL/2018/021/F for 95 plots over phases 1 and 2.

 

The sale of this site to Flagship Homes was successfully completed in January 2020.

KIBWORTH

A hybrid option and promotion agreement where we are taking a two-pronged approach to planning. A small affordable scheme to be followed by a larger market-led scheme.

LINCOLNSHIRE SITES

468 consented building plots in 7 locations. Purchased as 1 lot from National Housebuilder.

HARPOLE

Bowbridge Land entered into a Promotion Agreement with the landowners in July 2013. A Planning Application was submitted in December 2013. The Application was refused in February 2014 and an Appeal submitted. All technical issues were resolved but as the five year housing land supply requirement was satisfied just before the Appeal was heard in favour of the Local Planning Authority, the Application was withdrawn and the site is now being promoted through the Local Plan process.

EARLS BARTON

Bowbridge Land entered into an Option Agreement with the land owners in July 2013 and submitted an outline application for 39 units. The Application was eventually refused and an Appeal was heard in December 2014. The Appeal was allowed and the site subsequently sold to Mulberry Homes.

OADBY

We are promoting a site at Oadby on a medium-term agreement.

ABBOTS LANGLEY

55 acres in the green belt in Three Rivers DC being promoted for residential.

DESBOROUGH

260 unit scheme. Following a refusal from Kettering Borough Council. We run a public enquiry led by our friends at Greystoke land and the inspector found in our favour and granted consent for 260 units which is soon to come to market.

PINEHAM

Bowbridge Land have purchased the land for a Neighbourhood Centre at Pineham Village, Northampton. This is a retail scheme compromising of A1, A2, A3, A5 and D1 uses.

SAWTRY, HUNTINGDON

Bowbridge Land have entered into a joint venture with the landowner to promote 9 acres of land for employment.

WELLINGBOROUGH PARK FARM

Bowbridge Land have entered into a conditional contract with Northamptonshire County Council to acquire a mixed-use site, part residential, part local centre. Planning consent has been approved in principle by Wellingborough Borough Council.
